Here is another fan favorite, Taki! This awesome kunoichi has a reputation for being one of the most popular characters ever since her appearance in Soul Edge. If Cassandra becomes DLC, then Sophitia will have some competition on who is the better sister. In her Soul Chronicle, we get to see her and her sister Cassandra, both of whom are missed dearly. Some players will notice how awkward she can be at first when playing as her, but Sophitia has simple combos that do decent damage. Hephaestus has blessed her for greatness!Īfter having to witness the headaches that are her children Patroklos and Pyrrha from Soul Calibur V, diehard fans rejoiced when the official trailer for Soul Calibur VI arrived featuring Sophitia and Mitsurugi. Like with most of the female characters in Soul Calibur VI, Sophitia makes her comeback! Bearing a design that calls back to the first Soul Calibur, she looks beautiful as ever. While Ivy can be tricky to use, having her return in Soul Calibur VI is a plus. Her infamous move titled, “Calamity Symphony” is hard to input and only a few players are dedicated to perfecting it. Getting down the combos can be a chore, but those who can pull it off are rewarded with a strong fighter. Like with Tira, Ivy is a tough character to master. While she does show a lot of skin, Ivy is a viable character that has been a popular choice in the competitive scene. She has a dominating presence and she knows it. Known for being an over-the-top character design wise, Ivy Valentine is one of the most recognizable characters in the Soul Calibur series. However, fans are very happy to have her come back and narrating her own Soul Chronicle is adorable. There is not enough about her fighting style that makes her stand out, which is unfortunate since she is a popular character. Both wield lances and have similar moves. Seong Mi-na is a fun character in her own right, but she is very similar to another playable character Kilik. Fans that loved her ever since her debut in Soul Edge are certainly happy to see this lovely lady back on the stage of history. The cute and spunky Seong Mi-na finally makes her return after being cut from Soul Calibur V! Hailing from South Korea, she wants to prove to her father and friend Hwang that she can take care of herself. While she is not the absolute worst character to play as, Tira does leave a bad taste in fans’ mouth for being DLC. Beginners will have a tough time figuring out whether to have her in Jolly or Gloomy mode. Other than being downloadable content from the Season Pass or her own pack, Tira is one of the toughest characters to master. It’s like a slap on the face to pay more money to get her. Tira is no doubt a fan favorite among the Soul Calibur fans, but why is she at the bottom? There are three letters called, “DLC.” Having to buy Tira is a huge letdown for fans who are crazy for her. But which one will rank on top? Here are 8 Soul Calibur VI female characters ranked from worst to best. The female characters especially are welcome additions that fans awaited dearly, brought back from Soul Calibur V, or will eventually arrive. The character roster in this game is small compared to previous titles, but Bandai Namco include fan favorites that were sorely missed from Soul Calibur V. Soul Calibur VI has been out for a month now and fans have been rejoicing for 6 years of waiting. Talim and Ivy seems to be like an interesting matchup. It’s working a treat and, although it only has 2GB of RAM, it’s fine for a bit of web browsing, social media, scanning documents, etc. 2006 Mac Mini running Windows 10!Įarlier this year, I brought the 2006 Mac Mini back to life with a SSD upgrade and, although it’s not “supported”, I managed to install Windows 10 on it (actually, I installed Windows 7 via BootCamp, then updated). The Mac purchases require a bit more consideration – their premium price means that it’s not something to go into without a great deal of thought and, although I still regret selling my Bondi Blue G3 iMac (one of the originals), I have 20 Mac Minis, and a late-2007 MacBook. Linux is normally for me to do something geeky on – whether that’s one of the Raspberry Pis or an old netbook running Ubuntu to easily update an Arduino, etc. The Windows machines come and go – they are mostly laptops provided for work (either mine or my wife’s) – although we also have a Lenovo Flex 15 as “the family PC” (in reality, it’s difficult to get near it most of the time as the kids are using it!). The NEC µPD7220 was the first implementation of a personal computer graphics display processor as a single large-scale integration (LSI) integrated circuit chip. ANTIC also supported smooth vertical and horizontal scrolling independent of the CPU. 6502 machine code subroutines could be triggered on scan lines by setting a bit on a display list instruction. Atari 8-bit computers (1979) had ANTIC, a video processor which interpreted instructions describing a " display list"-the way the scan lines map to specific bitmapped or character modes and where the memory is stored (so there did not need to be a contiguous frame buffer). The Atari 2600 in 1977 used a video shifter called the Television Interface Adaptor. The Namco Galaxian arcade system in 1979 used specialized graphics hardware that supported RGB color, multi-colored sprites, and tilemap backgrounds. Ī specialized barrel shifter circuit helped the CPU animate the framebuffer graphics for various 1970s arcade video games from Midway and Taito, such as Gun Fight (1975), Sea Wolf (1976), and Space Invaders (1978). Those days are over, but QuickTime Player is still a core application on Mac computers.
It provided stable, consistent power output the entire time without any drops or spikes in voltage. I tested it by running an RV AC unit, refrigerator, and a circular saw at the same time. The electric start made starting it very convenient. Features:ĭuring my hands-on testing, the Champion 100263 fired up flawlessly every time on both gasoline and propane. Power delivery remained stable on both fuels when powering appliances like my RV AC unit and refrigerator. It started up quickly each time with the convenient electric start. Switching fuels is easy by just turning a knob on the control panel. The Champion 100263 performed equally well for me running on gasoline or propane. This dual-fuel generator has become my go-to for reliable power. I love having that flexibility when fuel availability is uncertain. The Champion 100263 stands out for its versatility to run on either gasoline or propane. If you’re looking for a super high-quality 2000-watt inverter generator, the Generac GP2200i is hands down my top recommendation. It delivers excellent value despite the higher price tag. Why I Recommend It:įor inverter generators in this power range, the Generac GP2200i really hits the sweet spot – super quiet, powerful, efficient, and reliable. Its noise output is astonishingly silent for the amount of power produced. I was also impressed by how quiet it remained the whole time in operation. It never struggled or bogged down, even under heavy loads. The power output remained stable even when connecting multiple devices like my RV’s A/C unit, laptop, and phone, simultaneously. It started up smoothly each time with the turn of the ignition switch. In my real-world testing, the Generac GP2200i performed flawlessly every time.
This is Pro-Line’s first-ever body dedicated to the ever-growing short course drag racing class. It starts off with the awesome Pro-Line Super J Pro-Mod Drag Car Body (#3523-00). It will also require some more effort to properly complete the change from an off-road short course truck to a sleek 1/4-mile drag car. It is by far one of the biggest transformations amongst the three vehicle builds shown here. Kicking of the three builds is this killer-looking Slash Drag Car. The chassis of the Traxxas Slash makes for a great platform to work off of. Next you will see how you can convert the Slash into an awesome quarter-mile drag car, a roost-throwing sand buggy and a sick pavement pounder using Pro-Line accessories. It is a durable off-road vehicle that has a versatile and robust chassis to work with, there are a ton of factory and aftermarket parts to choose from and there are a loads of people out there who own these fun off-road trucks and will benefit from these builds. Traxxas Slash 2WDīut what RC car or truck should we use? The one vehicle that quickly came to mind was the popular Traxxas Slash 2WD short course truck. This is a great option if you are jonesing for a change and you don’t have the budget to buy another vehicle. We decided to take one vehicle and show how you can transform it into one of three different types of vehicles. We stepped back and looked over our rides here at RC Driver and we noticed that even though most of them are upgraded with either factory and/or aftermarket hop-up parts, they are essentially still the same type of vehicle that they started out as and are not all that transformed. See what you can do to your truck after checking out our Traxxas Slash Builds that anyone can do! This inevitably turns into a one-upmanship contest and the cars become quite decked-out. Having a RC vehicle identical to everyone else’s tends to get boring and it is fun to customize your vehicle to give it a bit of an advantage over your buddie’s car. There is a thrill in taking a stock vehicle and then improving it to either make it perform better, last longer or just to change its appearance. We love taking the time to upgrade our RC rides. Threatening Presence a permanent buff to the voidwalker that causes its threat generation to increase. Up until Battle for Azeroth, in which I stopped playing modern WoW, I kept it half-heartedly up-to-date out of love, despite never having any intentions of making it into a proper guide. This is an old, old thread that long predates the Wowhead guide system. Now your playscreen (viewport) will be not centered so adjust these, I give you an example on my TV, yours may vary:Ĭustom viewport Y pos. Of course, there are consoles that use the full 240p like Nintendo64 or PlayStation (in most games, there are exceptions) so for those consoles you should set Custom viewport height to 480.Īnd then there's Atari 2600 at 210p (custom vp 420) if I remember right When you search for pixel perfect image vertical resolution is more important than horizontal. On NTSC screen will be filled completely on PAL you will have black borders on top and bottom but this is correct: any try of increasing this number will result in pixel doubling and graphics deformation. It is well known that PAL has 256 (288 in overscan mode) pixels tall but most if not all Genesis, SNES or NES games only use 224, therefore the size of the viewport you must set is 448. Others like NES or SNES used 256 (512) horizontally but were stretched by the TV so setting width to 640 should do fine with Raspberry composite output. That should get you the equivalent to 320x224 consoles like Sega Genesis output (you set 640x448 because RPi composite resolutions are fixed at double res PAL/NTSC). Then, if you are in a retroarch core, enter retroarch menu (hotkey+B) go to "Settings", "Video" and set "Aspect ratio" to "Custom", then adjust these: Also I recommend you very much you change to non-interlaced (progressive) mode (sdtv_mode=18 for PAL or 16 for NTSC) as interlaced hurts your eyes and for fidelity purposes, most games on most consoles did progressive back in the day You should try to set sdtv_aspect to whatever number be 4:3 (you are stating you are using it on 16:9). Hi! All that follows is assuming you are using composite output. Is there a way to preserve original aspect ratio in a decent way? but It seems to "eat" some of the pixels on the image and the result it's not very good. I found a way to tweak the aspect ratio inside Retroarch. If I set the aspect ratio to 16/9 in the visual menu of Recalbox then I get Up an Down black bars which is not desired at all. If I set the aspect ratio to 4/3 in the visual menu of Recalbox everything is ignored and stays as it is. What I want to do is to add black bars left and right of the screen (if possible only ingame), this is the default behavior on the 1080p tv/monitor screens to preserve original aspect ratio, but somehow is ignored when using a CRT-TV. so, every system I run (snes, psx, n64, megadrive.) looks deformed or stretched. The thing is, most systems where designed with a 4:3 aspect ratio in mind. I have an old CRT-TV and the aspect ratio is 16:9, the settings on the config.txt are: Hardware (Micro SD, Power Supply, etc.): MicroSD(32GB), 5V3A, USB-FlashDrive(128GB) The story is told from the perspective of the sister who is getting married to an engineer and she is embarrassed to be thinking to herself that he has rescued her from a crazy life with her family. I believe it was one of a series and this one was about one of four English sisters and very funny. Please help with the title of this book! I read it back in the 1980s but it was set in 1950s or 1960s England - gloves & hats. That's all the details I can remember, but I would LOVE if someone has read this and could tell me what the title is!! In contemporary times, h tries using hypnosis to go back in the past and save H, but H (contemporary) ends up channeling the angry war General and no longer acts like himself. She keeps having these visions, and the H in the other times was an officer in the military during the war, and the h was always on the opposite side. The h&H get married and h begins having visions of them from the revolutionary war and the civil war their souls have been in love across time but was always doomed. She gets offended but decides to take him up on his offer to pose for a painting. The H is an artist who meets the h at a restaurant one night, and tells her he bets she has dimples on her ass. It begins in contemporary time (although I think this book was published in the 80's or 90's). I've been looking for a book I read years ago and thought someone may be able to help. I really wish there was some sort of database where you could search keyword plot lines to books and find titles! It would make this so much easier! (I seem to run across that book everytime I try to search for this book!) I really hope someone can help! I know it's not a Harlequin, I also know it's not The Black Lyon book. :) Seems like they're really poor/all of their supplies are gone. I think I remember the h has been running the castle by herself for a while now-though I may be getting that from another book. In fact no one at the castle is happy about the H's presence I remember the h is not happy about her upcoming marriage to the H-so maybe he won the castle in a siege, etc. She is really young-14 or so** This was a big part of the storyline The h has 2 sisters**the youngest of whom is raped (by the H's men (?))-I do know one of his men takes her and cares for her/nurses her back to health. (dark hair, etc) "Black" may even be in the title of the book The H wears a lot of black, and it seems like he's dark as well. :) I've been looking for this book for SO long! I don't remember much about it, but here's what I do know: Play 1070 different solitaire card games, from classic games like Klondike, FreeCell, and Spider, to original games found nowhere else. Klondike, also known as Canfield, is a card game for one player and the best known and most popular version of the patience or solitaire family, as well as one of the most challenging in widespread play. The game can be configured to specify how many times you can go through the deck: When there are no more cards in stock the cards in waste can be turned over and placed into the stock pile to allow them to be drawn again. There are different ways the game can be configured for drawing the cards from the stock: In that case only a King or run of alternating coloured cards ending in a King can be moved into the empty space. Multiple cards that form a run of alternating colours can be moved together.Įmpty spaces can either be filled with any card, or run of alternating coloured cards, unless the game settings specify only Kings in empty spaces. The columns on the tableau are built down in descending rank in alternating red/black colours. The four foundations at the top of the screen are built up by suit from Ace through to King. The first twenty eight cards are dealt face down into the tableau of seven columns to form an inverted triangle, then the top card of each tableau is then turned face up. Klondike Solitaire is played using a single deck of playing cards, excluding Jokers, totalling 52 cards. The objective of the card game Klondike Solitaire is to move all the cards to the foundations at the top of the screen. Klondike is also known as Canfield, named for Richard Albert Canfield who ran several gambling houses and at one time was "the best known and wealthiest individual gambler in the world." Rules Objective The game has been around since at least 1902 and it might have been named for the Klondike gold rush of the late 1890s. You have to complete all suits to win the game: clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades. Make sure to always follow up with the opposite color.
